I had one of the most uncomfortable and unprofessional sales interactions I’ve ever experienced — made more concerning by the fact that the person involved was the owner of the business. After submitting an online enquiry, I received a call confirming my budget was in the $40k–$60k range, and a Saturday check-and-measure was booked. All seemed fine. When he arrived, he again asked about budget, and almost immediately began asking if I’d be signing today — before I had even seen the design or any detailed pricing. I explained that I had other quotes and would need time to review, as anyone would with a major purchase. Instead of accepting that, the tone shifted sharply. The pressure escalated, I was pushed to commit by Monday, and I was spoken to as though I was wasting his time simply because I wasn’t willing to sign on-the-spot for something I hadn’t even been shown yet. When I made it clear I wasn’t comfortable proceeding without time to think, I was berated and argued with. I eventually asked him to leave — and even while walking down my stairs, he continued speaking aggressively. For context, this was a man well over 6ft and around 150kg. I’m a confident male in my 30s and still found the interaction unpleasant. I can only imagine how intimidating this would feel for someone more vulnerable or less confident. And the irony? After a couple of months of research, saving and comparing designs, if he had approached the consult in a professional, consultative way — showed me his design, given me room to think — I probably would have signed later in the week. Just not under pressure and certainly not within 48 hours. What makes this so disappointing is that this wasn’t a pushy junior rep — this was the owner. A sales process should be respectful, informative, and allow the customer to make an informed decision — not rely on pressure or intimidation. I hope this review helps other customers avoid the experience I had. Please also note, after some research, that all of the photos I put into google lens, on the website, are not projects he has completed but appear on other websites several years ago
