WARNING.Don’t trust this builder.QBCC has issued a STRUCTURAL DEFECT NOTICE on this builders licence. QBCC issued a finding against this builder that DEFECTS listed were not repaired as instructed. The builder walks away leaving us with the cost of repairing the failed rectification. There are not two sides to this story only one and to resort to publicly defaming us just demonstrates how low they are willing to stoop to try to save their reputation. We know that these people built our home without home warranty insurance and failing to disclose this on the SALE contract means that that lied to us.This dishonesty reflects on their character. They did the work that specialised trades should have done and hid it. The pictures you have on your website of our home are false as you know the Alfresco roof leaks and has had to be removed as no one could fix it, the garage floods, the chimney leaks, you ignored all basic building standards. MASTER BUILDER AWARDS Wide Bay are Regional and stand for nothing when they rely on you providing your own certification, It’s just advertising for you . It’s laughable that you hold them in high esteem and yet have been nothing short of rude to us. We have also found our bathroom floor, which won a Master Builder Award, has rotted through due to failed waterproofing that you certified yourself. I have invited the area manager from Master Builders Wide Bay to view the house in its current state and have requested a review of the award. DISGUSTING behaviour along with a DISGRACEFUL response to our photographic evidence.

From the very moment we received our architectural design and engineering drawing we placed our trust with Vivere to deliver on the promise- and they certainly did that. We enjoyed a true tripartite relationship with Vivere and our architect to bring the drawings to life. Seamless dialogue, problem solving budget management plus of course managing our expectations as the client. All delivered to the very last screw and on time. If you’re considering using Frans Gorissen of Vivere Homes to build or renovate your home... I would strongly urge you to reconsider based on my experience as a purchaser of a home built by him. QBCC investigated him, found his work defective and ordered him to undertake rectification work, the majority of which failed due to further dodgy work. His QBCC record reflects this negative outcome. He failed to comply with the law when selling the property and was proven to have failed to follow building codes and proper building methods. He has also been fined, as a separate matter, by QBCC for taking our money then failing to lodge our home warranty insurance policy, pocketing the money for himself. It has been more than four years since purchasing our house built by Mr Gorissen of Vivere. We have spent all that time fighting to have the many faults and defects rectified. This process is still ongoing and continues to take an ever-increasing financial and emotional toll on me and my family. We discovered thirteen leaks within a month of moving in. We have had to deal with defective waterproofing, defective roofing, defective tiling and defective drainage. We have had to remove and replace roofing structures and undertake major excavations to allow for proper waterproofing. We have had water pooling in ceilings, running down walls and across floors, causing extensive damage, mould and structural issues. The main bathroom has had to be gutted and rebuilt from scratch, from our own funds, due to failed waterproofing affecting the sub-floor frame. The house was not even eight years old at this stage. Even the pool has leaks. This is all fact, not disgruntled opinion. No doubt Mr Gorissen, or his wife or daughter, will respond to this review with excuses, denials and gaslighting. This is how they deal with unhappy customers or those they have a legal responsibility to assist. There are many glowing reviews of him and his business for you to read. Their website has lots of pretty pictures and grand claims. He and his family are good at selling themselves, but they cannot be trusted to back it up with professional work or ethical service... and don’t be fooled into thinking our experience is unique. You have been warned. Buyer beware!!!

We have recently completed our renovation experience with Vivere Homes and we can only describe it as completely transformational. Frans and Ingrid listened to our brief to open up and modernise our mid-century home which resulted in the installation of a beam, the removal of load-bearing walls to create a new open plan kitchen and dining space and the relocation of our dated bathroom. The end product has exceeded our expectations! We feel as though we are living in a new home which finally is sympathetic to our location. All of the tradies involved have an eye for detail and were exceptionally easy to work with. Frans is a problem solver who prides himself on quality control and workmanship and Ingrid has a real eye for design aspects. Working with Vivere gave us confidence that our Dream Home was within our grasp. From the moment we met Frans and Ingrid we felt that our dream was going happen. Both Frans and Ingrid put in time and effort into ensuring that they knew us and our style to ensure that it was reflected in our home. We had frank and honest discussions about cost, and outcomes - so there were no hidden surprises. Being an engineer, I have built things. A new home and a gas storage depot in country NSW on a greenfield site and renovated houses. Vivere Homes are a great team comprising 3rd generation builders spanning across the globe. Frans and Ingrid are hands on workers who are honest and hold high ethics and value integrity. Frans built a home for us which exceeded expectations. They then renovated an apartment for us which was most impressive. Tbh I think they are deserving of all the awards they have accumulated over the years, especially the best in Australia house build award that they won in the Master Builder Awards. Frans’ work and building knowledge is extensive, and he is equally talented for new builds and renovations. I salute this hands on couple who continue to build dream homes for happy customers. Being a builder and interior designer is a powerful combination.
