Burton Constructions NQ

I am extremely disappointed with the service and workmanship provided by this builder. The quality of the building work was substandard from the beginning, with multiple issues arising that were clearly the result of poor construction practices and a lack of attention to detail. Despite numerous attempts to address these concerns directly with the builder, there was a consistent lack of accountability and responsibility taken for the defects. This ongoing negligence led to a formal complaint being lodged with the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC), which resulted in a Direction to Rectify being issued. Unfortunately, even after the QBCC’s involvement, the builder failed to comply with the direction and did not carry out the necessary rectification work. This not only demonstrates a complete disregard for professional obligations, but also a lack of respect for clients who have invested significant time and money into their project. I would strongly caution anyone considering this builder. The experience has been stressful, costly, and deeply disappointing. If you value quality, responsibility, and integrity, I recommend looking elsewhere.

We built our dream home through Burton Constructions and could not be happier with our home. They were so helpful through every step of the way. The finishes on our home are nothing short of perfect and we are blown away by the quality.

I contacted Nick to get a quote for a full house renovation. He was happy to talk with me, turned up promptly and after going back and forth to make sure I had included everything I wanted, his price was competitive and he could start without too much of a delay. During construction Nick was always available to meet me on site to discuss any concerns and any issues were dealt with without delay. I am very happy with the end result and I would recommend Nick and the team at Burton Constructions without hesitation.
