Still waiting on a quote almost 2 months later. Was very responsive initially emailing through a question to find out exactly what I wanted, but then nothing. Would not recommend.

While I did not use this business, it's very unsurprising to see the negative reviews about Deb and her performance with customer service. I had dealings with her over the last few years as she manages the showground board where I leased a commercial premises. The reviews here are like reading reviews of her management there...

Product is at expected industry standard but not installed to customer expectations. Customer service is a joke Communication is extremely poor. Can not keep to time lines, No quality control. The owners seem not to care about the customer at all. I spent more than 30k with East Coast Cabinet for a kitchen, (cabinets only)50k including benches and appliances. It took them more than a year to complete the work. They made me feel guilty every time I rang or tried to communicate to get my work finished. Both Peter and Deb blamed each other or a third party for delays. I dont think they communicate at all about working jobs. Works not finished to an acceptable level and in one case not finished at all. I have completely given up on this cabinet maker even after trying to stay local and support local industry and gave ECC a second chance for more works, which is a shame because I still have at least another 10 to 15 k on cabinets to go on my project. I am open and flexible and patient to a point. Our kitchen is now a few years old, but within the first 6 months the edging was coming on top of the cupboard doors started to peel off, the door handles have been fixed repeatedly by us as the screws were not long enough, the original benchtop we chose was out of stock, the next one we chose we were told afterwards that it is now obsolete, so we had to go with our third (not great) choice. Customer service is non-existent.

Originally we had set the install for the 10th of July. Today I called to confirm tomorrow’s install and was told I’d have to wait another 2 weeks and there is nothing I can do. No one bothered to communicate the change of date despite my emails back and forth up until this date. I feel cheated and could have gone with another firm but the date was key. I have also just found out another of their clients has had a similar experience in the last 2 weeks. Don’t make promises (OR CONTRACTS) when you can’t keep them.
