Best Kitchens

We had a great experience with Best Kitchens Wollongong. We had a house with a pokey 1980s original kitchen and when we spoke to Ashleigh about what we wanted she worked on that but then also suggested some of her own ideas or concepts. We ended up going ahead with what she suggested from a style and layout perspective and we couldn’t be happier, better than we could have imagined. They also put us onto a fantastic builder who completed our renovation and he was phenomenal too. Aaren from Best Kitchens worked alongside the builder to ensure we always had the right measurements and layouts post the original concept design and we were able to make amendments and adjustments on the fly as we saw the space coming together ie where the fridge should be or how large the island should be. It was really a great experience and we love the end product. They also did all our build in wardrobes so it all comes together nicely.

I recently had my kitchen and laundry renovated by Best Kitchens, and couldn’t be happier with the result. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, stress-free and well communicated. This was my first renovation, so I really appreciated the support from Ashleigh and Aaren. They were fantastic to work with, guiding me through every step of the process, answering all of my questions and making what could have been an overwhelming experience feel a lot easier and manageable. The design exceeded my expectations. They did an incredible job maximising my small space, finding storage solutions and making the space functional and beautiful. Thank you, Ashleigh, Aaren and the entire Best Kitchens team for creating a space that I absolutely love!

NOTE: I am pleased to state that the below issues were well attended to and resolved last week. This was initially a great service despite stretching from the promised 8 weeks to 5 months. Returned to tighten cupboards and draws less than 12 months. These needed tightening again less than 2 years except this time the pantry shelves were sinking, they fixed. Before warranty runs out the pantry shelves are further sinking, the sink and the bench tops gapping and draws and cupboards need tightening again. If your house is not new, you may consider this response “ a kitchen is fitted to a house that has been there for 10-20-50 often 70 years. I’m sure you understand that there is movement in houses especially in a wet soiled suburb like...” Wollongong they even referred me to “a Geotech.” Am not a builder I just requested to help fix my kitchen but someone must have taken this personally! It may be a good idea to advise clients with homes over 10yrs old then before signing papers if that’s the case. I made consultations and was told movements typically occur within 12 months, and that it was either poor design or bad material. When I reached out to let them know so as to be helped I was rebuked for complaining and not appreciating! I don't think anyone expects a do over their kitchen every 5 years! I was told, “ We will be in touch next year to discuss what we can and can’t fix.” I promise to return and update what was fixed after 3months and another update a year later as marked in my calendar.

Very happy with service and product. We had excellent communication throughout and all the trades that were organised were pleasant, helpful and professional. We had one hiccup with a wrong size door but this was resolved immediately and didn’t delay the install. Thanks Ashleigh and Aaren!

There after service was great my soft closing draw was slamming after 6 years they came to look and came right back with new runners the service was great
