PB Builds

PB Builds was founded by Phil Brooks, who is a Director and Registered Builder with over 15 years of hands-on experience in the building industry. The company is based across the Surf Coast, Bellarine Peninsula and Geelong, and services the Western Victorian region, covering Colac, the Surfcoast, Geelong, the western suburbs of Melbourne, and the Mornington Peninsula. PB Builds specialises in bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, and other home modifications, and its main services include designing and building new kitchens, bathrooms, and laundries, as well as redesigning and opening up spaces. The team includes a Director & Registered Builder, Renovation Consultant, Administrative Assistant, Finance Assistant, Draftsman & Estimator, and Lead Carpenter.

Rob Weston, Lead Carpenter, has over five years of experience in domestic construction leadership. Francis Parado, Draftsman & Estimator, prepares detailed plans, 3D visuals, and cost estimates. PB Builds follows a 50-Point Quality Check before handover and provides warranties and documentation upon project completion. It offers a paid blueprint service that includes scope, trade breakdowns, 3D renders, plans, selections, fixed pricing, and timelines. Post-project support is available for questions, maintenance help, or future renovation planning. PB Builds works with occupational therapists on accessible building solutions.

Bathroom renovations, including NDIS bathroom builds and reworks following water damage, form the core of the work customers describe. Several reviewers highlight the quality of the finished result, pointing to flawless tiling and careful attention to detail across ensuites, main bathrooms and laundry areas. A recurring theme is communication, with clients noting that updates arrived consistently before, during and after the job, and that the team and its subcontractors were easy to reach and responsive.

Punctuality and reliability come up repeatedly, as does the tidiness of the site, with one customer mentioning that everything was cleaned up perfectly at handover. Phil and Rob are named often, described as patient, thoughtful and professional, and reviewers value the advice and enthusiasm they brought to planning the layout and finishes.

Work has covered investment properties with tenants in place, accessible bathrooms and additional joinery such as a wardrobe fit out. Customers frequently remark that the process felt smooth from the first meeting through to completion, and that the standard of workmanship left them confident in the result. The trust placed in the team is a point that comes up often, particularly for those who had previously had a poor experience with trades on site.
