Splash Bathrooms Qld

Marcus was recommended by lift salesman to do pre cut out works for lift installation. Was told by both salesman ( his mate) and lift company that works had to be precise so we went with Marcus. Initially everything was fine until the pre install checks where was discovered that Marcus hadn’t put support beam into ceiling. Marcus initially said he would return following day but when his mate salesman was sacked along with ongoing referrals to him, he said, “not coming back, they’ve done wrong by me” even though we had paid him in full and our contract was with him, not the lift company. After contacting QBCC, he returned bad mouthing the lift company but installed a beam. Lift company came back and discovered that he had put 3 screws into a beam but did not carry out the full work required. We had to pay another builder to rectify his work then to make matters worse, Marcus had put beam into ceiling wrong place initially. I requested that he reimburse us for the additional costs but he said “nah, not interested - good luck”

Very happy with our ensuite full renovation plus some cosmetic upgrades to a powder room. Marcus is easy to deal with, listened to our ideas, steered us towards what was achievable and what wasn’t . Marcus oversaw the project and was responsive and available when we needed to contact him. His subcontractors were on time, hard working, & skilled .Splash weren’t the cheapest quote nor the most expensive but they suited us perfectly, and we are very happy with the result. Thanks Marcus and team. Recommended!
