Complete Kitchens

We had a great experience with Complete Kitchens for our new kitchen in our Californian bungalow in Melbourne's SE suburbs. Alex and team assisted us in narrowing down our preferences and provided a wealth of design expertise to ensure the modern features of our new kitchen blended in to our period house. We were able to evaluate different options and discuss the elements that we wanted to incorporate. We compared the service on offer to other kitchen companies and CK stood out. We were able to view the kitchen in the CK factory with Alex at test-assembly stage before painting and installation, so that any potential issues were avoided. We were impressed with the quality of the materials (high moisture-resistant boards, quality drawer runners and hinges, etc) and in the pride of craftmanship all the staff displayed. We had real peace of mind where CK project managed competitive trade quotations and coordinated timing of the various tradespeople to attend. We compared this to the reviews we read of other high-profile kitchen companies who leave this up to the client to sort out - we are so pleased that CK handled the coordination. The tradespeople were all very familiar with CK's process and the process could not have been more easy for us. Where there were a couple inevitable small issues that cropped up - e.g. a small solvent smudge on a 2 pac door that needed to be replaced - CK resolved this promptly by replacing the whole door, without question or fuss. The price was highly competitive for the very high quality of the final product and the expert workmanship. Highly recommended!

We have had two fantastic experiences with Complete Kitchens , a couple of years apart. A few years ago they did our kitchen and they have now just completed our laundry. Both projects were seamless and have exceeded our expectations. Our laundry was tiny, but designer Alex managed to squeeze so much cover space into the new design, it’s both practical and so pretty!

We recently renovated our bathrooms and kitchen with Complete Kitchens and are delighted with the results. The quality of the cabinetry and workmanship is outstanding, and the entire process was seamless from design through to installation. A special thank you to Alex for her design expertise, professional guidance and collaborative approach throughout the project. She worked closely with us to create layouts that maximised storage and functionality whilst creating beautiful and practical spaces tailored to our needs. The transformation has exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend Complete Kitchens.

After recently completing our long awaited kitchen renovation, i have no hesitation in recommending the team at Complete Kitchens. The idea of a kitchen reno was so daunting in the beginning but once the ball started rolling with CK I knew i was in very good hands. The design process is thorough and efficient and Alex was always available and responsive to any queries i had along the way. Thank you for our beautiful kitchen guys! I particularly liked the way the designer listened to my requirements and judged perfectly how to design the kitchen around the way I work in the area and to improve its functionality. I love the super big pantry and the beautiful finishes. I now can access all my appliances and use them all now. Complete Kitchens was recommended to me from friends and didn’t disappoint. I cannot recommend Complete Kitchens. Our experience was marred by a critical design flaw that rendered our new kitchen essentially unusable. The layout meant the fridge door could only open to 85 degrees. Worse, with the adjacent pocket door open, the fridge handle collided with the pocket door handle, risking immediate damage and preventing full use of the fridge drawers. At 85 degrees, the fridge was not functional. Despite providing all appliance specifications when requested, including fridge dimensions, Complete Kitchens failed to ensure the design allowed the fridge to operate as intended. This was particularly frustrating given we had clearly stated that functionality for a family of five adults was our top priority, followed by aesthetics, especially important in our open-plan living area. When we raised concerns, Complete Kitchens refused to accept this as a design issue. In my opinion, Director Alex was particularly difficult to deal with: he was dismissive, repeatedly bypassed our questions, and offered the same inadequate response each time, “if you want to open the fridge door, just shut the pocket door first.” No effort was made to explore practical solutions, and he showed no willingness to engage meaningfully with the problem. I felt his tone throughout was condescending and rude. We independently investigated alternative door configurations, none of which resolved the issue due to the height of the cupboard, not something that was discussed as potentially problematic earlier in the design phase. Complete Kitchens’ only suggestion was a costly and invasive fix, which was to cut into the freshly painted, load-bearing wall, move studs, and engage structural engineers, all at our own expense. There was no indication in the original drawings that the pocket pantry door would protrude 154mm beyond the bench when open, nor any warning that it would interfere with fridge functionality. When we questioned the visual impact during a site visit, we were told it would be “hardly noticeable”, but the functional impact was never raised. We spent several weeks without a functioning kitchen while Complete Kitchens delayed. Eventually, we redesigned the area ourselves, making several intentional changes to maintain the appliance space but split the height with more appropriately sized shelves and cupboards. This redesign added $8,000 to the original cost. Complete Kitchens not only delivered a flawed design but also failed to take accountability and respond professionally when we raised legitimate concerns. We were left to fix their oversight at significant cost. We were also deeply unsettled by the confrontational communication we experienced. It became clear to me why Alex is not involved in the initial client engagement process. Buyer Beware!

I had my laundry renovated in January by CK Kitchens.  I was so delighted, both with the outstanding end result and CK's exceptional seamless, stress free methodical process.  I had CK back in April to renovate my 40+ old kitchen. My laundry and kitchen now look so amazing; all I had hoped and dreamed. So pleased and exceedingly satisfied, I had CK back to install storage cabinetry in my garage. On the 1st day I entered the CK showroom, I was warmly greeted by lovely Melody who listened and patiently answered my questions and explained the CK process. All I had read on the CK website lined up with what I saw and experienced with Melody. This gave me the confidence to proceed with a booking with Stephanie for an in-home design consultation. Thank you too Melody for all your helpful information and suggestions along the way. Meeting Stephanie, the senior designer. I was so impressed by her impeccable character, her warmth, respect, integrity, engaging personality and her gifted creativity and professional knowledge and expertise.  I knew I would be in good trustworthy hands with Stephanie, which confirmed and sealed my decision to choose CK Kitchens.   Stephanie actively listened and designed my laundry and kitchen so artistically and functionally beautiful to my heart's content and went above and beyond in providing so much extra helpful advice and care throughout the entire process.  Thank you so very much Stephanie.
