Refresh Renovations Gold Coast - Martin Peirone

Great, honest advice and information provided by Martin. Really appreciate your time, knowledge and expertise.

Martin and the team at Refresh Renovations Gold Coast were outstanding from start to finish. What felt overwhelming at first became a clear, well-managed process thanks to Martin’s step-by-step guidance, transparency around costs and timelines, and constant communication. His expertise and honesty gave us total confidence, even when unexpected structural issues arose. The builders’ portal kept us informed, and the workmanship was exceptional. Martin genuinely cares about achieving the best result within budget and always acts in his clients’ best interests. Professional, thorough, and highly skilled — I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone considering a renovation.

I have been working with Martin for quite some time now and found him to be very professional with their approach. I would not hesitate to recomment him for any specialist renovation jobs. With their end-to-end design and construction management capability, they are the best in business.

The scope of our renovation was so daunting to us initially. Martin and the team were able to provide a clear, concise breakdown of the steps involved from concept to delivery. Communication was always clear and prompt. There was full transparency with costs and timelines. Even when we were indecisive, Martin and Steve's expertise were able to provide much needed advice and guidance. The use of a builders portal was very welcome where we could check on the progress and planned works. I would highly recommend Refresh Renovations.

We had a vision of a complex under house extension - separate unit with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, living areas, deck looking over underutilised back yard and elevated views. We found it hard to get anyone to even look at the job. But Martin at Refresh Renovations Gold Coast took it step by step - ideas, concepts, initial plans through to full drawings, costings, engineers report etc. The result was a beautiful design that we loved. Unfortunately the engineering and construction aspects of building under our house on a steep gradient put it out of our reach. But Martin's approach made it possible to explore thoroughly before making our decision. We've referred family members to Martin since and their major renovation is now under way.

From the get go, Martin and his team at Refresh made us feel comfortable in the choice to engage them - looking into adding a second storey to our house was a first for us and Martin explained each stage, what would be needed and the full scope coverage they could provide in extreme depth which was great. We went through both concept and feasibility stages. At the concept stage, JC from Perfect Square alongside Martin talked us through various option of how they had envisioned our plan notes and bought it to life - and they were very open to discussion and accommodating when we had queries as to whether other options would work. Once the final concept was agreed upon, we went to the feasibility stage and this was amazingly thorough and left no detail or cost unaccounted for - which is brilliant when you are doing a build/extension. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Refresh and Perfect Square

My home is now complete. After Martin and his team did a wonderful job renovating the first floor of my villa, I decided to go ahead with Refresh to renovate my ground floor; a space that could be used for a self contained unit, or additional space for spreading out and taking advantage of the garden. After discovering issues with the structural beam, and on engineers advice, the main beam was replaced, the kitchenette redesigned to sit unobtrusively along one wall and the back of the house opened up with bifold doors, bringing the outside in. Martin's team was efficient and the work was timely. Any issues were dealt with and resolved. I'm very happy with the finished product and now have a brand new home. Thanks Martin and Refresh.
