Jamie and the team from VBC recently completed two bathrooms and a kitchen renovation for our home and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Planning directly with Jamie from the outset helped clarify what would practically work in our home. The showroom was helpful to compare options for the bathroom and working with Luke the cabinetmaker for the kitchen bought our overall design together. Alex then did an excellent job capturing all the fixture and fitting details so the job could get started. Jamie communicated progress and updates and was very responsive for any questions. The team were very efficient and we were impressed with how versatile Tommy was. Any trade that Jamie coordinated from electrician to painter were all professional and thorough. Our 1930’s house presented some challenges of old windows and doors which they managed. Any unforeseen or additional scope work was minimal but well communicated and reasonably costed. The site was kept very clean throughout and the whole job was managed very professionally. We would not hesitate to recommend Jamie and the team at VBC.

Having dealt with various trades over the years, we can honestly say these guys are the best in the business. From the initial quote, Jamie stood out. He is extremely knowledgeable and gave us honest, practical advice that others didn't. We actually received two other quotes that were cheaper, but one wasn't a registered builder and the other used high-pressure sales tactics that made us uncomfortable. We instantly connected with Jamie and knew VBC was the right choice. The team—Tommy and the rest of the crew—were a total pleasure to have in our home. We had our bathroom renovated by the Victorian Bathroom Company last month and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Jamie and the team from Victorian Bathroom Company came to our rescue when our shower floor gave way. They did a fantastic job quickly , were highly organised and worked as a team.very efficiently to rebuild the floor, install a new shower base and plumbing , re tile and grout and install a new frame before our visitors arrived. The process was smooth from first visit to quotes, design, selection of materials and build. Jamie kept us well informed all the way. We were delighted with the workmanship and finish. Tommy is a great worker. So delighted with our new family bathroom, ensuite and laundry. VBC is highly recommended.

I had so many issues with my shower rebuild done by VBC. They did extra work without notifying me first, and slapped an extra $600 to the original quote. They also accidentally added a duplicate charge, which I only caught because I checked carefully. There were problems on the work too. They cracked the architrave during the job, and while they did replace it, they left the new piece raw and refused to paint it (see photo). They also left the job without siliconing between the architrave and shower (see huge gap in photo before I had them return), and I also had to push them to silicone around the floor as mentioned in the quote. And to top all of this off, they never sent me the compliance certificate. I have emailed them asking for it but have been ignored. Overall - surprise charges, sloppy work, and unprofessional behaviour. Update: The compliance certificate was emailed one day after this review was posted - five months after final payment was made in full.
